"Bear with me, I have a lot to say—-especially after seeing that this office somehow has a 5-star rating. Though many of my issues are with State Farm at large, I’ve been with this office specifically the last 6 years and they’ve been far and away the worst agents I’ve had in 20+ years at State Farm. Recently I had my first failed payment in the entire time I’ve had coverage. This was 100% on me as I closed a credit card and forgot it was set as the auto pay option for our insurance. The app/website takes a day or two before it resets and allows you to make payment. I immediately made payment and set a new account in my wallet. About an hour later Jimmy’s office left me a voicemail saying they were giving me a “friendly reminder” to pay my bill and that I had a “grace period until February 27 to pay”. Having already made the payment I didn’t think anything of it and disregarded. Fast forward to today. I just received a letter from State Farm notifying me that they were dropping my coverage and that my policy was being canceled. I’m still waiting to hear back from the office but once I saw the supposed 5-star rating I had to make other consumers aware. And as background—-20+ years as a client, zero claims, zero tickets, 1 missed payment that was immediately rectified. I’ve been giving them free money for over two decades and I’m dropped that easily? I’ll wait to see what the office says and possibly take the review down but if you’re shopping for insurance and see this, please ask yourself if you’d like to be treated this way by your insurance provider. This review doesn’t even go into detail on all the games and tricks they’ve pulled to raise my rates over the years or the disappearing act they pulled with my renters insurance. I’ll save that for another review. Thank you for your treatment of a loyal customer, State Farm. EDIT: The comment responding to this from Jimmy’s office is actually a perfect example of the customer service that I’ve received so far. Jimmy and I spoke on the phone at 09:07. Jimmy started the call by telling me I still had not made payment and made me show him proof that I did. Then, Jimmy explained that there must have been a delay in the posting. Even after that conversation Jimmy’s office posted this reply to my review around 09:30. Even after I was forced to show proof that I paid despite the app clearly showing I made payment on 2/13. If I can see that on my end, and it’s State Farm’s system, how can you not see that on your end? I’ll say it again—-terrible customer service. This isn’t how you treat a loyal client of 20+ years. If I did this with my clients I wouldn’t have any left."

"Like many others, I was in a tight situation after being laid off. I had to pick and choose bills. Unfortunately, losing my auto insurance was one I had to lose. Once, I was able to slightly get back on my feet, I started searching for new auto insurance and William Jordan reached out numerous times. He was genuine enough to understand and show empathy with all the patience and work he put in to helping me get coverage.
